St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Houston
Renovation of the 1929 building, designed by Alfred Finn, included updated space for Youth, a new Welcome Center, and a Conversation Hall. The design for Youth called for fun, age-appropriate space, with movable partitions, high ceilings, indirect lighting and new AV systems. The Welcome Center and Conversation Hall were designed in character with the American Gothic style of the church, with plaster groin vaults and slate floors.
